Does Aldi take credit cards?

Does Aldi take credit cards?  Find out what forms of payment you can use to pay for all of the goodies this grocery store offers here!

You are able to pick up your groceries using Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, prepaid debit cards, EBT cards or SNAP, and Link cards.  The methods of payment that they do not accept are personal checks or WIC (Women, Infant and Children checks).

I shop at the Aldi store in Ilion NY and my favorite recipe using their food is a meal with their Parmesan & herb chicken tenderloin (from their Kirkwood brand) along with their homemade Little Salad Bar macaroni salad on the side. It's a incredibly cheap and tasty meal which I have very often.

Also, sometimes I like to have their marzipan pound cake for desert, which is only sold during their "German week"s but it's a very delicious and sweet treat.  Since I switched from shopping at Walmart to Aldi a few months ago, I noticed I save an average of $50 on groceries every week. Considering that it's only my wife and I in my household, that's a very significant amount!

Not only we are saving an average of $200 every month, but we think that we are getting more and better quality foods at Aldi for the same buck. Of course this is not the only way we have found to cut on some expenses, other ways that I find very useful to save money or earn some extra income are by, first of all, keeping a strict budget. This way I know where I am spending my money to the last cent and I'm able to set priorities and know how much I can save, I definitely recommend anybody to do this.

Also, if you are keen to work from home and earn an extra income, I highly recommend working on Amazon MTurk on your free hours. There are others websites such as Upwork that also offer freelance works which you can complete from home, but these sites tend to focus on more experienced or skill-specific workers. For this reason, Mturk continues to be my preferred choice since anybody can create an account and start answering some surveys for a few extra bucks, it doesn't matter how computer savvy or skilled you are!

Also, every 3 to 6 months my wife and I like to go through our belongings and gather clothes, tools, decoration articles, books and such that we haven't touch in a while and we sell tell in a garage sale. To maximize your sales, make sure you get on Craiglist and find local Facebook groups of sales and/or exchange of items in your town and advertise your garage sale so you get more visitor and potential buyers!

Another rather common way of saving money but one which most people seen to frown upon is to get your clothes at stores like Salvation Army or Goodwill. There is this myth that clothing articles from such stores are usually in bad state or too cheap (as in quality), but I lost count of how many Brand names items and very high quality clothing I have found in these stores!

All you need to do is to ask your local thrift store employee or volunteer at what day they receive donations from big retailers, because this usually happens on a regular basis and that's when you will find Brand name items for very cheap, which these retailers usually give away due to minor defects.

Overall, the biggest tip to saving with maximum efficiency is to be mindful of your money and remember that you can always find similar or even higher quality products for less, simply do your research!
